Quinn vs. Music

“i’ve figured out that joy is not in your arms. i know i’ll always ache with an empty heart. i think it’s time to run cause i’m seeing stars, i’m seeing stars, watch me fall apart.” - ellie goulding

I’ve been on an Ellie kick recently. She can do no wrong.

I don’t know what to tell you other than the fact that a giraffe’s heart weighs 22 pounds, and that somebody once told me when flies fall in love, their entire brain is rewired to only know loving each other. When one of them dies, their memory becomes blank, and I hope you never think about anything as much as I think about waking up next to you during a rainstorm at 2 a.m.

I cried harder watching this than I did when I saw a guy wearing a fedora and Crocs the other day. So, so inspiring and amazing. Rest in peace, Zach. You’re wonderful.

Quinn vs. Love

“she has been hanging on to the hope of him for so long that she doesn’t realize there isn’t anything left to hope for.” ― david levithan

“Dear Quinn: Why wud u date that asshole over and over?”

Hahhhhhh. I never make the same mistake twice. I make it five or six times, just to be sure. Obvz.

Quinn vs. The World

“remember that at any given moment there are a thousand things you can love.” ― david levithan

“Dear Quinn: I’m a writer and I’m thinking of starting a fashion/lifestyle blog, but I don’t know…advice?”

Why not? What would you have to lose? Nothing. So definitely do it! As long as you have a topic that you’re really passionate about and a writing talent to match, then starting a blog is a really good choice. If you have quality posts, they can also serve as clips for any future employers.

Also, I’d say write a few posts (at least two or three), get the layout exactly how you want it, and make sure everything looks bangin’ before you tell anyone about it. That way they have some polished stuff to read through, and you’ll gain some fans.

Good luck!
